1. Maintain a very high sense of alertness

9. Avoid giving alms to beggars by the roadside

10. Do not offer and do not accept lift from strangers, including unsolicited 'escort policemen and other uniform men' by the roadside

11. As much as possible, avoid isolated, remote or unusually quite road where security presence is suspect.

16. Worst case scenario, remain calm and cooperate with the assailants when you come under attack. Your life is worth far more than material things

17. Never argue with anybody behind the trigger. Don't be a dead hero or heroine!
